Pastor Larry has been married to his wife, Colleen, since July 1, 1983. They have two "twenty-something children", namely, their son Lance, daughter Summer and her husband Adam. Recently, they have welcomed their first grandchild, Sophia, into their family.
Pastor Larry has been involved in pastoral, educational and chaplaincy ministry for forty years.
He has served on eight distinct pastoral teams of four churches in Red Deer, Calgary and Edmonton.
It was also his honour to minister as Academic Dean and Professor of Practical Theology at Vanguard College, Edmonton for twelve years.
He has also been delighted to serve as Presbyter for Edmonton South of the Alberta/Northwest Territories District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. He specifically carried out responsibilities on the Credentials, Education and Pastoral Care committees respectively while acting as Sectional Presbyter.
He has also voluntarily provided chaplaincy services in Red Deer College, the Legislative Assembly of Alberta and the Royal Canadian Legion.
He has also been involved for ten years as an advocate for public education in the Greater Edmonton area, serving in various volunteer capacities.
He is a graduate from the University of Alberta (B.Ed.); Horizon College (Dip.Theo.); Lutheran Seminary (M.Div.); and is presently working on his Doctor of Ministry Degree.
Recently, he has completed his education and training as a Professional Certified Life Coach and provided pastoral oversight to Living Your Purpose Coaching and Training Centre, Edmonton, Alberta.
Lastly, he loves sports of all kinds, but enjoys football the most. He is a keen fan of the Edmonton Eskimos and Kansas City Chiefs.
