Pastor Matthew P.

Before Pastor Matthew became Pastor Matthew, he was just Matthew the Cabinetmaker. Being in the trades for 10 years, he became a Journeyman Cabinetmaker with a Red Seal through NAIT. Having grown up with learning disabilities and having a stutter, Matthew found it always difficult in schooling, but the Lord was faithful! After graduating he credited it all to Jesus! After NAIT he right away went to Vanguard Bible College where he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Theology (BRS) with an emphasis in Pastoral care and Counselling and with honours. In 2018 Matthew was asked to become a part-time Pastor at HVPA, which he prayerfully accepted. In September of 2019 Matthew married the love of his life, Rebekah Albu. They are a team, and look froward to what God has in store for them in the future! In 2022 he graduated with his certificate as a Chaplain. Matthew is not just a pastor, but he is also an Itinerant Minister with revival in his heart. He has his own side ministry called "Matthew Pipke Ministries" where when requested to, he speaks at other churches, conferences, camp meetings, and even ministers internationally.

Fun facts: Matthew loves to spend time studying theology and Christian history, Creationism, watching Hogan's Heroes, and nerding out with The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Jurassic Park. If God wouldn't have called Matthew to the ministry, he would have been a Volcanologist in Hawaii.  :)
