Pastor Philip N.

Pastor Philip Nadurak was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and is half
Ukrainian and half Filipino. Philip was not raised as a christian, and did not know Christ
until around the age of 16. He encountered Christ online through the lives of others, and
his life was forever changed. He eventually felt a call to ministry and went to Vanguard
Bible College shortly after graduating from high school. He ended up attending HVPA
where he met his future wife! Philip and Jill eventually married in Jasper in 2022. Shortly
after this time Philip was welcomed on as an Assistant Pastor for HVPA. Pastor Philip
has a heart not just for the lost to know Jesus, but also for the less fortunate.

Philip is a graduate of Vanguard College with a BA in Theology (Pastoral Studies) and
acquired his MA in Bible and Theology through Kairos University. A PhD in the future is
something he is open to.

In his spare time he loves to read, do theology, study church history, listen to and play
music, go for walks, swim and play board games. He also has a passion for food and
wants to be a better cook!

If he was not called to minister to God’s people, he might have pursued a culinary
career and worked to open his own restaurant. Salty, spice, savoury, God clearly had
other plans!
